On Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd of November, 2008. The event will start at Lake Waikaremoana in the Urewera National Park, located in Northern Hawkes Bay on the East Coast. Competitors will traverse 196km of stunning native bush tracks, back country gravel roads and rivers on foot, mountain bike and by kayak, to finish at the coastal town of Wairoa.
