St. Patrick's Day
On March 15, 2008 California will once again play host to the annual featured event in San Francisco, the St. Patrick's Day. With over 250,000 attendees, the St. Patrick's Day celebrates with a bang! To top it off is the St. Patrick's day Parade. Irish Pubs in and around the State serves ale and dances to the jig.

Bring your shears and a warm woolly jumper. The Golden Shears 2008 Premier Sheering and Wool handling Championship will hit New Zealand during the 28th, 29th and 1st of March.

Rugby World Cup 2008
This 2008, the Rugby League World Cup concludes the Centenary of Rugby League in Australia. The event that started back in 1954 features the top ten RL nations. The 2008 RLWC will be the 13th World Cup that is scheduled to take place between October 25 and November 22, 2008 in Australia.
